TypeCast is about four colleagues at commercial casting office Kast Casting. They struggle to maintain being professional in the workplace while their personal lives are in shambles. Co-founder Todd Fuller makes plans to patch things up with his soon to be ex wife but is really in love with the camera operator Nancy Adams who is also lost in misguided love. Todd hired his sister Margaret as a PA who lives to give his brother a hard time. Co-founder Veronica Zepeda is a workaholic who tries to make time for fun but with no avail. As they search to find the best actor for their clients, they search to find themselves as well.
