Adam Severi grew up outside of Philadelphia, PA where he began his career in TV as a live news director for his High School cable news station. Seeking a degree in TV/Film Production he attended the University of Miami before moving to Los Angeles in 2010.

He began his professional career as a camera operator for the Emmy award winning Plum TV documentary on the US Polo Championships and as the cinematographer for the NYTVF award winning pilot “OB/GY Anne” (2011). Then, after winning Samsung’s Second Screen Storytellers Contest, he made “D-TEC” a high tech dystopian future sci-fy pilot. It was in 2013 that Adam began working on his first feature, “Made In China” which was shot entirely in China. He then went on to work on the feature documentary “Losing Sight of Shore” which was released on Netflix in 190 countries, as well as Peter Berg’s “The Selection: Special Operation Experiment” on History Channel. Adam has continued on to fly drones in Africa for National Geographic in “Chasing Genius,” film a season of ABC’s “Castaways” in an area of Indonesia so remote that whole crew lived on boats and most recently added to his resume HBO Max’s new series “Legendary.”from the creators of Queer Eye.

As a Cameraman and Drone Pilot Adam has worked on five continents and for many clients including Toyota, Lexus, Coors Light, Blumhouse, ESPN, FOX, MTV, The Years Project, Vice Media and The American Cancer Society.

In addition to camera work, he has a passion for climbing on rocks, walking across slacklines, hiking up mountains, rappelling down ropes, surfing across waves, rowing through surf, building random things and brewing award-winning beer. Also, he used to be an EMT, so he’s got that going for him but above all Adam is a cameraman.
